Welcome to our first ever blog Installment of Thryfter Thursday, our weekly celebration of amazing entrepreneurs in the thrifting community. Our first feature is Jess Bennett, founder of JessFindsVintage!
Jess’ account is a site to see! With beautiful aesthetics, frequent drops, and a following of over 5,600 loyal customers, her business is booming. We were shocked to learn that she started her journey only 3 years ago, during the height of the pandemic.
Keep reading to learn JessFindsVintage’s origin, Jess’s advice, and a sneak peak at her upcoming drop! All from none other than Jess herself.
“This was kind of all an accident! I started selling my clothes as a quarantine hobby and picking up things here & there at the thrift. I was shocked to learn that people liked it — and I never quit!”
Be authentic and don’t waste your time copying others — find your own angle and have fun with it!
Oh, and take photos in natural lighting —ALWAYS.
I don’t think I have a motto, but if I did it might be something like “natural fibers are always better.” It’s something I feel soo strongly about as there are SO many sub-par clothing products being pumped into the market by fast fashion companies. I can spot a cotton knit a MILE away over all the acrylic/polyester ones and I will never not go for it!
“I will have a collection of curated outfit bundles at the end of this week! Those are always so much fun and such a creative outlet for me. ”
This Saturday February 11th at 7pm EST visit JessFindsVintage to see a collection of 25 bundles of springtime outfits. Check out the pictures below to get a sneak peek!
