In this interview, we will learn more about the creator behind the account, their passion for sustainable fashion, and her tips for creating an account like hers!
So Alexandra, how did you start your business?
“I started my business when I was sent home from college because of the pandemic! I started with my clothes and then found a love for thrifting and up-cycling :)”
What a fantastic beginning! That is exactly how I started as well; I feel like starting with selling your clothes has become a gateway to selling thrifted clothing. Is there any advice you’d give fellow business owners or people looking to start their own business?
“Don’t be afraid to make friends! I have made so many friends with customers and other accounts on here! It is so much fun getting to know your audience!”
I agree! The thrifting community is full of so much love! I can’t tell you how many incredible people I’ve met.
What’s been your motto when running your business?
“Dare To Be Distinct”

“What keeps me motivated is my long-time supporters!”
I can sure see why! You have a fantastic team of loyal customers and fellow thrifters supporting you along the way. What is a recent success you have been proud to share with them?
“I am so proud of myself for making my own website and re-branding! It puts me one step closer to my dreams 🥺”
