We hope to help small businesses increase their efficiency during the shipping process
Thryft Ship is driven by our appreciation and love for small businesses. There is an incredible amount of hard work, dedication, and care that is put into making a business run. We want to support and encourage small business owners to keep pushing and growing by being a steady, and reliable shipping provider.
I started selling on Instagram during my senior year of high school. Two friends of mine shared a thrifting account and let me log in to sell some old clothes I had. I very quickly grew addicted to business as it was such a fun and unique way to earn money. I began thrifting and slowly learned to train my eyes for unique finds. After a while, I had become a pro just like the other two owners and they let me stay on the account. After about a year, we all went our separate ways and each started our own account. That is when I started @Kickin_thrifts, my own thrifting account. I kept up with it for about another year but then when college started I found it much harder to keep track of both school and my account. One of the main problems I dealt with was not having enough time to ship out my items. It took me over 2 hours to package my sales at the end of every week and make all the shipping labels and so my story began. From there I joined a business Idea accelerator program and began conducting interviews with other thrifting accounts. It was there I discovered a lot of these girls experienced the same pain as me. And so, Thryft Ship was born. My vision is to help the millions of young women who are starting their own small businesses on Instagram become the capable independent entrepreneurs they were destined to be! Thryft ship will be a tool that empowers these ladies and gives them back the extra time to help them further grow their business.
