Why Is My Thryft Ship Page Buffering?
If your Thryft Ship page is buffering, freezing, or acting a little glitchy, no need to worry — it’s almost always your browser cache, and clearing it is a quick fix.
TL;DR
- Buffering or freezing is usually old browser cache.
- Clear your cache (set the range to All time, clear cached images and files), then refresh.
- Steps below for Chrome, Safari, and Edge.
Why it happens
Your browser saves older versions of websites to help pages load faster. But sometimes that stored data gets in the way after an update — which can make a page buffer or freeze. Clearing your browser cache fixes it.
How to clear your cache
Google Chrome
On Mac:
- Open Chrome and press Command + Shift + Delete.
- Set the time range to All time.
- Check Cached images and files.
- Click Delete data, then refresh your Thryft Ship page.
On Windows:
- Open Chrome and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
- Set the time range to All time.
- Check Cached images and files.
- Click Delete data, then refresh your Thryft Ship page.
Safari
On Mac:
- Open Safari and click Safari in the top menu.
- Click Settings, then go to the Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data, then Remove All.
- Refresh your Thryft Ship page.
On iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings and tap Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data.
- Reopen Thryft Ship and try again.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge and go to Settings.
- Click Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
- Set the time range to All time and check Cached images and files.
- Click Clear now, then refresh your Thryft Ship page.

Still glitchy after clearing?
Try fully closing and reopening your browser, or open Thryft Ship in a private/incognito window to confirm it’s a cache issue.
