This week, we enjoyed interviewing Cailyn Medley, the founder of Jaded Revival (@jaded.revival), who has been shipping with Thryft Ship for over a year. Keep reading to learn more!
We are so happy you have worked with us for that long! We have worked with entrepreneurs in different stages of the growth of their businesses, and it is truly remarkable to learn more about their origins. First, could you tell us how you started your business?
“I started during the pandemic after stumbling across content on youtube about reselling. Since I already love to thrift for myself, I started searching for different sizes to resell and Jaded Revival was born!”
Youtube University is the most excellent resource; you can learn so much for free! Another great resource is learning from people in the field and putting in the work! Is there any advice you’d give fellow business owners or people looking to start their businesses?
“Don’t focus too much on making things perfect — Just get started! Be patient with yourself as well with sales and don’t get discouraged, they may be slow right away! But remaining consistent and showing up each week for sales will help you grow your business.”
Every entrepreneur has faced some challenges while trying to run their business. So what’s the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome?
“Leaving a job to pursue reselling full time. Any small business owner knows that some weeks can be great while others are slow but I have learned to accept that and set realistic goals so I’m not as focused on sales per week.”
Wow, you really took a great risk with pursuing your business full-time, but like they say “High risk, high reward, right?” We are super proud of you!

“Do what you can with what you have where you are”
