Introducing the New Inventory Feature on Thryft Ship!
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Inventory feature, designed to make managing your products even easier! Whether you’re pasting from a spreadsheet or adding items manually, our Inventory tab is your go-to spot for organizing products.
How to Use the Inventory Feature:
Adding Items Individually:
Click the “Add Items” button to enter inventory details like item name, quantity (default is one, but you can adjust), and weight.
Adding the correct weight is important—it helps Thryft Ship autofill shipping info and ensures accurate postage. Just remember to account for packaging weight separately!
Pasting from Excel:
Have a spreadsheet ready? Simply copy and paste your inventory into the “Add Items” field. Make sure to include item weights for even smoother shipping!
Using Inventory During Checkout: When shipping, start typing an item name in the checkout field. A dropdown will appear with your inventory items—weights included! This makes selecting and shipping items faster and more accurate.
We automatically add 1 oz to each package to account for polymailer weights but be aware you are still responsible for confirming the correct weight for each package.
