Pay Later with Payments

Marlee
August 20, 2025

You asked, we delivered.
Our new Pay Later option is here giving you two payment links to use with your customers, so you can decide when you want them to pay

Two Links, Two Different Flows

  • Checkout Link → For when you want your customer to pay and check out right after filling out the shipping form.
  • Form Link → For when you want to keep a running tab — perfect for customers who shop throughout the week, bulk orders, or anyone who wants to settle up later.

Here’s how they’ll see it:

  • With the Checkout Link, the form clearly says “This amount will be due at checkout.” Once they hit pay, they’ll see their total (including shipping + tax) and complete the payment.

  • With the Form Link, the form says “This amount will be added to your total.” Items get added to their running balance, and no payment is required right away.

Both links recognize repeat customers by Instagram handle, so if someone’s info is already in the system, it’s pre-filled automatically.

👉 You can turn Pay Later on or off anytime in your Payment Settings. If it’s disabled, your checkout works the same way it always has with a single link.

Why It’s a Game-Changer

Pay Later means you don’t have to manually keep track of who owes what — the system does it for you. Orders are grouped by Instagram handle, and your dashboard shows each customer’s total amount owed at a glance. When they’re ready to check out, you just send the Checkout Link, and the balance plus any new items are rolled into one payment.

💡 Pro Tip: If juggling two links sounds daunting, we suggest using Instagram’s Saved Replies feature to make it simple. Check out this Reel to learn more: Saved Replies Reel

This Will Be Perfect For:

  • Your weekly claim sale regular who adds “just one more thing” every other day.

  • Customers you’re holding items for until payday.

  • Big themed sales (hello, vintage tee drop) where everyone pays at the end.

Pay Later means less spreadsheet chaos, less copy-paste in DMs, and more time for actual selling.

Whether you’re managing open bags, holding items for later, or running lightning-fast checkouts, the new Pay Later option gives you the flexibility to sell your way — without the back-and-forth chaos. More sales, less stress.
