What it actually does

Four jobs it takes off your plate during every drop.

Catches every bid, comment by comment

Custom automations watch your comments and catch bids, BINs, and “sold” the second they land. It’s pattern-matching, not a bot talking to your customers. Real questions get flagged straight to you, in your voice.

  • Monitors your Instagram comments automatically
  • Confirms bids and sends outbid notices
  • Locks each item to whoever claims it first, so you never double-sell
  • Flags real questions for you to answer
  • Set custom bid increments, edit every message, block a bidder if you need to

Gets you paid with one-click checkout

Winners get a secure checkout link automatically, with their address on file. The more ways buyers can pay, the fewer sales you lose.

  • Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay
  • Offer Venmo alongside checkout, fee-free (you confirm those yourself)
  • Every sale collects in your own Stripe balance, paid out to your bank
  • Buy USPS labels fee-free with Instant Bank Payment

Runs your shop from one dashboard

Active drops, pending orders, payments, payouts, and inventory in one place. Optional AI can draft captions in your voice, only if you want it.

  • See every active and ended drop, and track pending payments and payouts
  • Full order details: receipts, fees, and net payout
  • Track item cost and see your profit
  • Optional AI captions in your tone, or off completely

Handles shipping and labels

Buy discounted USPS labels, print in a tap, and keep tracking on every package, right from your dashboard.

  • The lowest USPS label rates, built in
  • Print labels and buy several at once
  • USPS pickup option
  • Choose exact, flat, or tiered shipping

Is it worth it? The real math

  • The Sales Assistant saves 5 to 6 hours per drop. If your time is worth $20 to $30 an hour, that’s $100 to $180 back in your pocket every drop.
  • Our fee is light: 2% on items only, never shipping. The average item runs about $15, so most of every sale stays with you.
  • Run two drops a week without burning out, and the subscription pays for itself many times over in time alone.
  • Try the drop calculator to estimate your own time and money back.

Common questions

Will I still run my drops my way?

Yes. Every automatic message uses wording you set and can edit anytime. Real questions and conversations always stay with you.

Is it AI talking to my customers?

No. The assistant catches bids and sends checkout links by matching patterns, not by chatting with your customers. Any AI is optional and only helps you prep a drop, like drafting captions in your voice.

When someone comments BIN or claims an item, what happens?

The assistant confirms their claim right in the comments, then automatically sends them a DM with a checkout link and their shipping details already on file. For auctions, whoever has the top bid when the item closes gets that winner DM and link. You don’t lift a finger.

What if two people claim the same item at once?

Only the first valid claim wins, so it never sells to two people. If someone comments after that, they can be marked next in line, just like a real sale. That doesn’t sell it to them automatically. If the first winner doesn’t check out in time, you decide what happens: resend their checkout, or move on to the next person in line. That part is fully up to you.

What if one person wins several items?

You choose how their checkout works. You can have the Assistant wait until the drop or auction ends and send them one message with everything they won and their full subtotal, or send checkout links as they claim items throughout the sale. Either way, their items can ship together.

I like being in control. Does it take over?

No. You set the rules and it just follows them. Every automatic message is a template you write and can edit, you choose the bid steps, deadlines, and sale type, and real questions get flagged straight to you to answer yourself. You can block a buyer, jump in anytime, and you always approve a drop before it goes live. You’re handing off the busywork, not the reins.

Do I have to change how I post?

No. Keep posting the way you already do and just link your drop, or let Thryft Ship post it for you. Either works.

How do my buyers pay?

One-click checkout with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay. You can also offer Venmo alongside, fee-free. Every sale collects in your own Stripe balance and pays out to your bank.

Is it easy if I’m not tech-savvy?

Yes. Setup takes about 10 minutes, and support is a DM away if you get stuck.

Can I use it for just one drop?

Absolutely. Try it on your very next drop during the free trial and see how it feels.

Can I cancel anytime?

Anytime. No contracts and no surprises.
