What This Means for You

You don’t need to do anything differently—Thryft Ship automatically applies USPS’s temporary holiday increases when you purchase labels.

You’ll still access discounted USPS pricing through Thryft Ship, even with the seasonal surcharges.

Planning ahead is the best way to keep costs down. If you can, ship early and consolidate orders where possible.

Quick Tips to Save

  • Ship early to avoid peak congestion.
  • Stick to 3–10 lb packages when possible—they’re not increasing.
  • Use Media Mail for eligible items (like books) since rates aren’t changing.
  • Check rates in Thryft Ship’s form to make sure you’re getting the best option before buying labels.

Final Note

These temporary surcharges are a USPS-wide policy—not unique to Thryft Ship. But by buying labels through us, you’ll always know you’re getting the lowest possible rates available. 💜

P.S. If you’re planning holiday drops, consider printing labels early in the week to avoid weekend bottlenecks. 📬
