Your Orders Page Explained

3 min read · Updated June 2026

Your Current Orders page is where every order lives. It’s split into two sections — Pending and Ready — so you always know what’s waiting on the customer and what’s ready for you to ship.

TL;DR
  • Pending — orders still owed or in an open bag (waiting on the customer).
  • Ready — regular orders, paid orders, and closed bags (ready for you to buy labels).
  • Once a customer pays (or a bag closes), the order moves from Pending to Ready.

Pending

These orders are waiting on the customer. An order sits in Pending when it has an “Owed” status (not paid yet) or an open bag (the customer may still be adding items). You don’t ship these yet — they’re not done. See How Customers Pay and How Open Bags Work.

Ready

These orders are ready for you to ship: regular orders, orders marked Paid, and closed bags. This is where you’ll use Get Shipping Rates and purchase your labels. See the Get Shipping Rates button.

How orders move

An order starts in Pending and moves to Ready on its own once it’s settled — when the customer pays, or when their open bag closes. So your workflow is simple: anything in Ready is good to buy a label for and ship.

Quick rule of thumb Pending = waiting on the customer. Ready = waiting on you to ship.

Common questions

Why is an order stuck in Pending?

It’s either unpaid (still “Owed”) or in an open bag the customer hasn’t closed. Once they pay or the bag closes, it moves to Ready.

Where do I buy labels?

In the Ready section: fill out your package details and click Get Rates. Here’s how to process your first order.

What counts as Ready?

Regular orders, orders marked Paid, and closed bags.
