Can you tell us more about how you started your business? What inspired you to take the leap and turn your passion into a business?
“One of my softball teammates, a very close friend of mine, started this page back in 2020 during the pandemic. She asked me if i wanted to do the page with her and ever since then we’ve been active & selling handpicked thrifted items!”
As someone who has successfully built and run a business, do you have any advice for fellow business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs? What lessons have you learned along the way that you think are important to share?
“Don’t be afraid to ask questions!! I’ve learned a lot from other thrifters while starting up our page! Also, try not to get discouraged when you start up, you’ll slowly build your way and create so many new friendships!”
Every business faces its own set of challenges. What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome in your business journey so far? How did you approach and address this challenge?
“Probably dealing and learning how to handle customers. I strive for the best customer service and sometimes things happen where a customer get disrespectful or something doesn’t do the right way. Take a step back and handle the situation professionally.”
Building and running a business can be challenging, so what keeps you motivated to keep going? Are there any personal mantras or practices that you use to stay focused and energized?
“I love thrifting and seeing how happy my customers get when they receive the items from me; it just makes it all worth it in the end!”
When you first started your business, what strategies did you use to market it? Were there any particularly successful methods that you would recommend to others who are starting out?
“I shared it on multiple platforms! I posted it on my main Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat! We did a lot of shoutouts from other pages as well that helped market our page.”
Successful business owners have a personal motto or philosophy guiding their work. Could you share yours with us?
“Find clothes that make you feel good for a steal”
I love it! How has this motto translated into your business? What is a recent success you’ve had?
“I finally got enough courage to go live on Instagram! I think going live helps with that connection to potential/current buyers!”
Are there any new releases or upcoming drops from your business that you want to tell us about?
“I’m planning a graphic tee drop! I also have many story sales during the week!”

“I have been using Thryft Ship for 7-9 Months! A thrift account recommended it to me!”
